Our Early Stage Researcher 1 just started at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena

He studied Materials Science in Padua/Italy, both Bachelor and Master, and graduated with a thesis on electrochemically mediated atomic transfer radical polymerization (eATRP) in aqueous solvent. Later he worked as a research fellow in the electrochemical characterization of C3N4-based materials.

He joined the Friedrich Schiller University Jena/Germany in July 2020 with the goal of developing polymeric micelles of redox active materials for polymeric redox flow batteries. “This international and interdisciplinary project is an exciting challenge and fits well with the skills I have developed. I am looking forward to working in the Schubert Group.”, he said.

In his free time he enjoys reading books, especially science fiction and fantasy, and he has a passion for history.
