Originally planned as a satellite event of the POLYSTORAGE progress meeting, this soft-skills course took place online as a one-and-a-half-day workshop to teach our ESRs the essentials of scientific writing and grant applications.
Many thanks to PD Dr. Alexander Schiller from Schiller&Mertens for the great and inspiring workshop and to our ESRs for their very active participation and lively discussions!
A highlight of the event was the “social get-together” on Monday evening. Personal stories and information about the home and host countries of each ESR made this evening event a great success until we had to “hit the road” until next time!
