POLYSTORAGE summer school on “Chemistry of Electric Storage Materials” in Uppsala

Nine of our ESRs were finally able to meet each other in Sweden thanks to the POLYSTORAGE Summer School on Electrochemical Energy Storage at Uppsala University. The lectures were held on materials for Li-ion batteries, battery testing, different characterization techniques, etc. They were given by high top-class lecturers from both academia and industry. Due to the hybrid character of the Summer School also the ESR who could not join in Uppsala were able to follow the lectures online.

The ESRs had also time for seeing Stockholm, for a tour in Uppsala and for networking during activities like table tennis and during meals.

Thanks to Daniel and Reza and their team from Uppsala University for the great organization and to all speakers for the very interesting lectures and tutorials.

We strongly hope that all ESR’s can meet each other at our next event, the 3^rd POLYSTORAGE Workshop in Ulm in November 2021.
