We were happy to welcome 24 participants from 9 european countries. Furthermore, 4 participants attended via video conference. As we managed to bring together representatives of all beneficiaries as well as of eight partner organizations, the meeting was a great success!
The welcome note of the coordinator of POLYSTORAGE Prof. Dr. Ulrich S. Schubert (FSU Jena) was followed by the presentations of the partners including introductions of the individual ESR projects. After that Dr. Alexandra Lex-Balducci shared important information about European Training Networks and POLYSTORAGE ETN. Furthermore, the project advisor from the Research Executive Agency (REA) from the European Commission, Apostolos Paralikas, gave a presentation via video conference.
There was also plenty of time for networking in a pleasant atmosphere too - at the dinner on 2 February, 2020 the partners were invited to make new contacts and consolidate existing ones.
